Ibizarre - Ambient Collection Vol. 1

This is Lenny's first album as well as being the very first release on Ibizarre. It went out in 1996 and sold out before the end out the season. The album received critical acclaim throughout the island and amongst Ibiza regulars. Within the year the album was licensed internationally to Edel and Xtravaganza and had tracks on more than 30 compilations.

"I was living in Salinas at the time and wrote the music as a natural reaction to the calm of the winter in Ibiza. The view of Formentera inspired long sessions throughout the night. All the tracks were done in a single night and mixed straight to 2-track while the sun was dawning over the horizon, filling the room with a golden glow. I recall the feeling of peace and quiet after the storm that is the summer. Everything started to make sense: life, the music, the rising sun, it all just seemed to come together in a natural and divine fusion. It was the kind of experience that I will eternally draw inspiration from, it was a birth, something started that guides me till this day."
